A design collaboration between the well known designer Ilse Crawford and Ikea helps Ikea improve its environmental and design credentials. Together they have designed a collection exploring natural materials witch purpose is to fit into everyday life. The materials, cork, glass, sea grass and bamboo helps us stimulate our scenes, they feel as good as they look. Cork also helps absorb noise, and helps create a peaceful environment in a room. I like the straight modern lines in this sustainable interior design and that the furniture is easy to move around.
The collection is called Sinnerlig, and will be available in stores from august 2015.
